HillHaus Dômes is a unique glamping destination in the Pontiac, Quebec region. Our luxury geodesic domes are nestled in nature, offering breathtaking views of the lake and mountains, perfect for a relaxing escape. This is not your typical camping experience!

2. How many domes do you have?
We currently have three domes available for booking, each thoughtfully designed for comfort and a connection to the surrounding natural beauty. They each have a view and access to our private lake!

3. Where is HillHaus Dômes located?
We are located at 331 chemin du Lac Thorne in the heart of the Pontiac, Quebec. Our property spans 160 acres of private land, complete with a lake and scenic walking trails.

Booking & Policies

4. How do you book?
You can book directly through our website. Each dome has its own calendar of availability for easy scheduling.

5. Can I book a one-night stay during the week?
Yes, but you will need to contact us directly to open up a one-night booking during the week unless it already exists in the calendar.

6. What is the minimum stay policy?
We require a two-night minimum stay for weekends. One-night stays are available during the week or if a weekend becomes available (e.g., when someone books from Saturday to Monday).

7. What is your cancellation policy?
Our cancellation policy is detailed on our website and provided during the booking process. Please review it carefully before confirming your reservation.

Amenities & Features

8. What amenities are included in the domes?
Each dome offers a luxurious and cozy experience with the following amenities:

• Hot tub
• Full bathroom with a bidet and rainfall showerhead
• Queen-sized Murphy bed on the main floor
• King-sized bed in the loft, accessible by ladder
• Wood stove for warmth and ambiance
• Kitchenette with a mini-fridge, a toaster oven, microwave, double electric cooktop, and an outdoor BBQ
• Outdoor space with a private firepit
• Firewood at the dome and additional supplies on outdoor racks or in the wood shed with a communal wagon for easy transport
• Wi-Fi, please note there are no screens offered in the dome
• Living room space with books, games, and coloring supplies
• Private deck to enjoy the scenic views
• Drive right up to your door, no need to hike!

Activities & Surroundings

9. What outdoor activities are available on-site?
We have a lake with four paddleboards and a pedal boat for guest use. Additionally, there is a walking trail on-site that brings you to the other side of the lake, perfect for a peaceful retreat into nature.

10. What activities are available nearby?
The Pontiac region offers a local winery and brewery (open seasonally), farm tours, locally famous Ladysmith Hotel; your quintessential Canadian food experience, and opportunities to explore the local landscape. Guests can also relax by the lake or stargaze in the evenings.

11. Are the domes suitable for winter stays?
Yes, our domes are equipped with heating and a wood stove to ensure a cozy experience during winter stays. The snowy landscape adds a magical touch to your glamping adventure.

We recommend bringing:

• Swimwear for enjoying the lake and hot tub

Unfortunately, pets are not permitted on site due to our fragile environment.
